Oversees the artistic vision of the show, guiding cast and crew.

Teaches and rehearses the music, conducts the band, and ensures vocal quality.

Designs and teaches all dance and movement sequences.

The organizational hub; calls cues during performances, manages rehearsals, and keeps everything on schedule.

Supports the SM backstage, handling props, scene changes, and cast needs.

Handles budgets, scheduling, and overall production logistics (sometimes a committee in community theatre).

Oversees all technical elements: lights, sound, set construction.

Create and build the physical stage environment.

Under the direction of the Technical Director, the Lighting designer/operator designs and/or runs lighting cues to create mood and focus.

Under the direction of the Technical Director, the sound designer/operator handles microphones, sound effects, and mixes live sound.

Designs, builds, or sources costumes.

Gathers and maintains hand-held or set-dressing props.

Designs and applies hair and makeup looks.

Move sets, manage props, and assist backstage during performances.

Volunteers who handle tickets, ushering, concessions, and welcoming the audience. NOTE: Concession operators may require Alberta's ProServe certification to handle alcohol sales. FOH people will also help with post-show inspection and cleanup. FOH vol

Actors in a principal or supporting role. Can be musical or non musical. Must have good musical ability.

Actors who aren't as strong musically. Prefer principal or supporting roles with no singing capacity.

A very important volunteer role. Being a member of the board means you get to help forge the future of Firehall Theatre. We are always looking for talented, dedicated community theatre nerds to help us move Firehall Theatre forward.

Under the supervision of the Props master... our props builders are masters of problem-solving with a flair for creative imagination!

Concession can either be adult-beverages or non-adult beverages. If we are doing an adult-beverage concession, at least one of the concession operators MUST have the Alberta Proserve certification. We are looking for 2 to 4 concession operators per show
